On most occassions I prefer to be in my Garden, but at times I venture out and try new things.

As of recently I obtained a sewing machine and have begun sewing projects for the house. I am currently designing and making curtains for the Master Bedroom.

When I find a good piece of furiture, I like to refinish it to the best of my abilities.

I also enjoy the usual stuff like, Hiking, biking, and rollerblading.
I don't do those very often, but wish I did do more of it.

Barbie Dolls: I recieved Barbie dolls as part of a little girls natural upbringing. I did the usual to them too! Cut the hair, ripped the head off, put make-up on her or him, etc. Now, I recieve them in order to preserve them.
Bears: I don't care what kind it is, as long as it is comfortable to hold. I don't like the little stiff bears, and it has to have a personality.
Wine Glasses: I have acquired a respect for wine that I didn't think I would in my grown years. My father has enjoyed the varities of wine for several years, and I am following in his footsteps. When I moved out of the house, I needed my own set of wine glasses. It is a hard decision, to buy wine glasses. I think it is hard to decide on any glassware or dishware item. There are so many to choices these days. So, I decided I wanted to collect wine glasses. Not whole sets, but if I can buy one I do.
Cooking: I have discovered the "Joy of Cooking". I don't actually use that cookbook, but I liked the phrase. I tend to stick with "Better Homes and Gardens". I just love planning, preparing, cooking, and serving a meal. I have been trying some candies and so far so good. I love to make peanut brittle. I do tend to make up as I go, but I have not taken the time to write any recipes down. Maybe I will, then I can publish them here. We'll See!
I think that covers all of the things that I enjoy to do. I hope that you checked the links
I like to support those that support my hobbies.
I am not sure if I chose to collect these items, or it just happened that way.
